Since nature and the outdoors are favorite subjects here, you'll find plenty of pictures and things all about the 'Great Outdoors'.  I live in the LA area, so I frequent the Eastern and Western Sierras, as well as the local San Bernardino and San Gabriel mountains.

Are you an 'outdoor' person?  Check out these pictures from California, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming and Nevada.  Whether it's the beach, desert or mountains, the outdoors are for everyone.  So, when you're out there, make sure that you respect Nature and all the natural surroundings......we need to make it last for all generations to come.

 

I have to put an addendum in here - 

As much as I love fishing - fly fishing, bait fishing, bass fishing, etc., it's not the catching that makes the trip - well, maybe partly.  The actual fishing is fun, catching is a bonus.  The older I get the more I realize that it's the family and friends that go with me that really make the trip!  I can't remember details of all the trips I've done over the years, but I can tell you who has gone with me and how much fun we had. 

 That's the important thing - family and friends.
