Steve, Jimbo and I went up to the Eastern Sierras for a long weekend of relaxing and fishing in late September, 2008. Aside from spring time, fall is one of my very favorite times to be in then Eastern Sierras. Typically, the weather is very crisp. Mornings are usually quite chilly, but warm into nice days; again a bit cooler, but very enjoyable.
As usual, we do some fly fishing, some bait fishing, some cribbage playing and have a good time. No Travis on this trip, though.
